Moto G5 vs Redmi Note 4

Moto G4 Plus to finally get the Nougat update in the US

The smartphone is launched via online retailer Amazon. Lenovo previous year killed the Moto X lineup for the Moto Z series of phones, but now it looks like the series is making a comeback. With that system, Amazon Prime members were able to get the device with 2GB RAM/32GB for $184.99 for Prime members, and 4GB RAM/64GB for $239.99 for Prime members. This has got good user reviews and become popular. The other aspects of the Moto G5 include 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and a removable 2800mAh battery. Ever since plans of the smartphone's official launch in 2017 were revealed, a number of leaks have made their way all the way to the top.

In terms of specifications, the metal bodied 5-inch Moto G5 comes with a octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor combined with 3 GB of RAM. It has launched this device in two color variant, Lunar Grey, and fine gold color.

The Moto G5 during its launch was priced at Euro 199, which is around Rs 14,000 for the 2GB RAM/ 16GB storage variant, but since the Moto G5 Plus was recently launched for Rs 14,999, the price of this phone could be much lower than that, also because of growing competition in that sector. The internal storage is expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. On the Moto G5, Lenovo has gone with 13 MP rear with a f/2.0 aperture and 5 MP front shooters.

The Moto X 2017 will run Android OS 7.0 (also known as Android Nougat) which is to be expected.

Moreover, users can be always connected thanks to its rapid charging, which enables hours of battery with only a few minutes of charge.

It supports other features like Google Assistant, Moto Display, Actions, twist gesture. Being smaller in size, the G5's 5-inch display offers 441 ppi translating into more crisp images. The capacitive button housing the fingerprint scanner in the Moto G4 Plus was an anomaly. The Moto G5 will set you back by Rs 11,999 while the Redmi Note 4 has been priced at Rs 10,999. So the price is slightly down in compare to G5 plus.

Previously, we saw the renders of the phone, but Motorola Brazil posted a video yesterday on its YouTube channel on the eve of the company turning 44.

Lenovo has launched Moto G5 exclusively on Amazon India at Rs 11,999.

Moto G5 is not your ordinary affordable smartphone, Motorola has done its best in order to make the device more appealing to customers and that's why Moto G5 has been packed with premium hardware parts and a full HD display.
