Samsung Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8+ to launch in India today

Galaxy S5 remains most popular Samsung phone in US

Both handsets offer an unbelievable design that is built around its Infinity Display, while also offering top-tier specifications that are now the best on the market.

Several customers in South Korea who were given the chance to own Samsung's latest flagship devices after signing up for pre-order made it known that some of the Galaxy S8 smartphones come with a weird, red tint on the screens.

The complaints are pouring in for both these issues, and we haven't even gotten to the street release yet.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 is priced at $720 (around Rs 46,700) and Galaxy S8+ at $840 (around Rs 54,500) in the US. The pricing for these phones might be very close to those price tags. Now with these prices, they are definitely not the cheapest costing phone on the market, however, they are certainly worth the price which you are paying, with all those top notch specs and premium build quality.

The two Samsung smartphones are the first flagships since the fateful Samsung Galaxy Note 7, and will determine how the public perceives the brand after the debacle. These devices also feature 64GB of internal memory which can be further expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card slot. Also, the curved display on the front of the devices makes it very hard to replace the front glass without destroying the display.

Other features likely to appear, according to Kuo, include a rear-facing fingerprint scanner, 6.4-inch QHD+ OLED screen, and either an Exynos 8895 process or Snapdragon MSM8998, depending on the region. It has got an aspect ratio of 18:5.9. Galaxy S8+ has a 12MP Primary Dual Pixel Camera, 8MP Front Camera and is fueled by a 3,500 mAh Battery. They also both feature Super AMOLED display, allowing for clearer videos and images with a resolution of 2960 x 1440 (Quad HD). Whether the handset will be running a newer version of Android upon launch is unclear at this time, though we can hope for as much.
