'The United States CREATED terror cult ISIS' World leader claims

Ramadan toll shows Islamic State in pitched recruiting race

Later on in the 1970s and 1980s, Hosseinzadeh added, terrorist groups mostly aimed to target and pressure religious democracy authorities in the country.

"We possess documents and information showing the direct support of the USA imperialists for this highly disgusting movement (ISIS) in the region which has destroyed Islamic countries and created a wave of massacres and clashes", he added, without further elaboration.

The Islamic State group (IS) claimed responsibility for the twin attacks that killed 17 people and wounded dozens.

Trump has broken with his predecessor's attempts at rapprochement with Iran and made several direct verbal attacks on the country, telling it to stop training "terrorists and militias".

ISIS follows Wahhabism, an extremely intolerant and violent pseudo-ideology that is preached by government-sanctioned clerics in Saudi Arabia.

The Iranian side expressed pleasure for bolstering trade relations with the European states, including Slovakia, and expressed the hope that banking and insurance cooperation would be expanded in the near future. The Tehran attacks came hot on the heels of especially adversarial comments and threats by high-ranking Saudi authorities. Also, on May 2 Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman outrageously claimed that Iran is seeking to take over Islamic holy sites in Saudi Arabia and "we won't wait for the battle to be in Saudi Arabia... we'll work so that the battle is for them in Iran".

Iran also accused the United States for promoting Islamist militancy in the region. The Tehran attacks were conducted hours later.

Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has accused the U.S. of creating Islamic State and fuelling instability in the Middle East.

Earlier in the day, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said that Iran had obtained intelligence data proving that Riyadh is supporting terrorists along Iranian eastern and western borders. "States that sponsor terrorism rick falling victim to the evil they promote" Trump twitted in reference to Washington's long standing accusation that Iran supports terrorist groups.
