■ Mount Zion Holy Church, 3325 Ayden Golf Club Road, Winterville, will host joy night service at 7:30 p.m. today. The Rev. David Moseley will preach on "What Should We Do?" during the 10:45 a.m. ConneXion service in the Christian Life Center.

Father's Day Service, 11 a.m., Change Me Ministries and Fellowship, 2310 Fort Ave., our guest speaker will be the Rev. Howard White, New Vine Baptist Church, with music by Minister of Music, Bill Chambers.

First Baptist Church, Collinsville, will have vacation Bible school for children ages 3-13 from 6-8:30 p.m. June 18-22.

■ Next Generation Church, 2506 N. Railroad St., Winterville, will have a Father's Day service at 11 a.m. Sunday. Sessions will be held daily from 6-8:30 p.m.

The Gathering Place, a program for those in the early to moderate stages of Alzheimer's or dementia, 10 a.m. -1 p.m. July 11, Austin Avenue United Methodist Church, 1300 Austin Ave. Mondays and from 10-11 a.m.

Grace Bible Church, 1005 Richard St., will hear guest Pastor Salvador Nunez speak at 10 a.m. Sunday. Minister Debra Perez and Out of the World Deliverance Ministry will be guests.

Glow for Jesus! Let Your Light Shine Vacation Bible School, 5-7 p.m. June 26-30, Toliver Chapel Baptist Christ, 1402 Elm Ave.; free. "What is It?" during the 10:30 a.m. Sunday service in Lake Hamilton Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 2891 Airport Road.

Trailblazers for the Faith Vacation Bible School, open to all ages, 6:30-8:30 p.m. June 25, New Road Church of Christ, 3100 S. New Road. The event will run from 11 a.m.to 2 p.m. with a number of things to bid on, including oils, soap, jewelry, clothes and other items. Evangelist Antonia Parker of Brown Chapel Free Will Baptist Church will be the featured speaker, and Cheryl Willoughby will be guest musician. Pastor Gail Jenkins and Whosoever Will Temple of Deliverance Church, Kinston, will be guests at 7:30 p.m. Friday.

Ray Matthews of Bellevue Missionary Baptist Church in Danville; Thursday, United Choir's Anniversary, the Rev. Robert Smith of Jerusalem Christian Church in Martinsville; Friday, Young Adult Ministry anniversary, Minister James Hagwood, associate minister of Agape Bible Christian Fellowship in Martinsville; 11 a.m., Sunday, June 25, church anniversary services starting with 11 a.m. worship, followed by lunch; and 3 p.m. Sunday, June 25, the Rev. Johnnie F. Taylor and the congregation of Rising Star Baptist Church in Eden, North Carolina.
