Cars 3 Races Past Wonder Woman at the Box Office

Pixar/Disney rode their newest offering, Cars 3, to the top of the box office this week with $53.5 million, pushing the juggernaut Wonder Woman to second place.

The first two films in the "Cars" franchise have reflected the growing clout of markets overseas.
