Eric Bolling's Name Removed From Fox News Specialists' Twitter Account

"We were just informed of this late Friday afternoon via a HuffPost inquiry and plan to investigate the matter", Fox News told CNN.

United States television network Fox News suspended The Specialists host Eric Bolling over allegations that he sent sexually inappropriate text messages to his colleagues several years ago.

According to the report, a dozen sources and the three recipients of the text confirmed its contents.

Bolling has denied the allegations through his attorney Michael J. Bowe, according to the HuffPost.

Earlier last week, a lawsuit was filed against Fox News by a former contributor who claimed he was forced to participate in a fictionalized narrative (which has since been retracted) about the death of DNC staffer Seth Rich, in a coordinated effort with the White House to dial down the Russian Federation collusion investigation underway by special counsel Robert Mueller. But Bolling has reportedly been suspended from his job at Fox News.

The network said the investigation will be conducted by Paul Weiss, the same outside legal counsel who has handled other investigations at Fox News.

"There are a lot of great people working at Fox, many of whom I admire and respect to this day, but there is also a culture of sexual harassment that has not fully been addressed", said Ms. Heldman.

Bolling has always been a fixture on Fox News, becoming one of the networks more vocal figures, having made other sexist and controversial remarks on air.

Bolling first joined Fox News in 2008 after leaving CNBC, hosting the Saturday morning business show hosts "Cashin" In' at 11.30am. Bolling also won't appear on his weekend financial show "Cashin' In". The controversy comes after Fox had to suspend one of their star hosts on Friday. During his tenure there, he's been known to be a vocal supporter of Trump.

He was one of Fox News' earliest and most vocal supporters and an original co-host of "The Five", before moving up the ranks.

In July of 2016, Roger Ailes resigned after Gretchen Carlson had claimed he made unwanted sexual advances towards her.
